POUROUTOSWEGO exists to share opportunities for local believers to make an eternal impact TOGETHER in our town and the surrounding region. 
It is not an organization, rather, it is a call for Christians in the Oswego, IL region to love their neighbors as Christ has radically loved us. 
POUROUTOSWEGO will promote opportunities in which the local church can get OUT, VISIBLE, and TANGIBLY love their neighbors. 

We live in an era where many people have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. 

LET THAT SINK IN.

The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 10:14,
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 

The Father's heart is yearning for the people in this town to find Him.  If you have breath in your lungs, then today is another opportunity to share about the redemptive and transforming power of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sins, and your testimony of God's goodness in your life!  Our neighbors are waiting for us to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ (1 Peter 3:15). As we intentionally love them in measurable and visible ways, they will be able to find Jesus and give glory to their Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

What if every born-again believer in Oswego began to earnestly pray that God would launch us into the harvest field of our OWN town (2 Chronicles 7:14)?

What if the CHURCH of Oswego could lift the name of Jesus together and proclaim the gospel through words and our lives (John 13:34-35)?
